Regarding "The Pass" - LOL. :lol: Anyway, from my perspective after following Ken for four laps I could tell that even with a weight advantage I didn't have much acceleration advantage, if any. Most I could do was stay close. But I was able to study his line and discovered I could do the sharp left after the 300' back straight in a way that allowed me to get on the gas sooner and take a shorter path. After the kink to the right, while still under full acceleration (so before the actual corner obviously) I was able to get half a kart's overlap on the right side of his kart. He certainly didn't "have the corner" at that point. I then just did normal braking and turned to the apex and he turned into me and we collided. No last-minute, hail-mary, heroic, hopeless late braking.

Oh well, regardless it was all great fun. I definitely look forward to going back - but I'm not sure a 7pm league will work for me. Still 90+ degrees, and that's a long drive from Denton after work...
