Anyone up for dinner/drinks around 6ish to 8ish somewhere inbetween? We could all meet up and then head to the meet you want to go to... It's been a while since I lived up there but at Beltline/Marsh area there is The Londoner, Blue Goose, Snuffer's, etc.
Seems like there's a pretty fair split on who wants to go where. That's cool. I know Geoff (Stoly) and I are planning on going to Garland. I like the idea of meeting collectively for dinner somewhere before splitting off to go to Keller's or Garland. I'm up for it. However, I have a feeling the dudes who want to go to Keller's will want to eat at Keller's.
Looks like a dinner location at 6-6:30, then Garland at 8, then Kellers at 9-9:30. I'm in for the piggy back meet at 8 then group drive to Kellers. I'll pass on dinner.
Alright, how about this as a tenative plan of attack...
6-7:30ish, drinks and pub grub at Snuffer's. 14910 Midway Road, Addison, TX 75001. Jump on Beltline and hit the 8pm show at the Saigon Mall which is at the corner of Beltline and Jupiter. See how that one goes and see how many want to head down to Keller's around 9:30ish.
That works for me. I work just down Midway from Snuffer's.

Are you bringing Scrat to the meet or dropping it off at Track Dog beforehand?
Beforehand. Leaving out in the AM and heading straight for TDR. That should give me time to drop off the trailer and get checked in and cleaned up before the festivities begin.
Ah... thought the whole point was to get to see Scrat live and in person...
A few guys are planning on heading over to TDR to take a look early afternoon. I planned on dropping it off on a Wednesday just so I'd have the opportunity to meet the DFW crowd. Once it runs we'll have to all plan another gathering.
See you for dinner at Snuffers. And forget the marinated chicken nachos. Order the marinated chicken TACOS. They've been off the menu for years, but every one I've ever been to still makes them.Quote:

And a big shout out to everyone who put up with the "Race Wars" crowd to hang out in Garland for a bit. I don't normally get to come out on a Weds nite - so it was good to catch up with you guys. When the babygurl gets a bit older and lower maintenance I'll be out more often.

That was the most fun I've had in a parking lot since I was a teenager with a station wagon.
I'm glad I got to see Steve's car in person and meet Stoly again for the first time (thanks for the hood latch!), but you guys should've made it down to Keller's... we had a nice turnout and the lot wasn't overrun with herrafrush rice. Not to poop in the Cheerios, but that wasn't exactly my cup o' tea. Maybe I'm just gettin' old... ;)

Eh, the rice wars atmosphere wasn't my thing either, but it was so much fun hanging out with those guys I didn't care. It was a go with the flow kind of evening.
