Hmm... that's odd... I could have sworn that the wheels from the '02 were interchangeable with the wheels on the '99. :confused:Quote:

Got to drive on the new course for a few laps and got 3-30 Minute member sessions on the original track and I'm home before 3pm! What a great time! ::Banana::
It was fun, and you did very well once you got in the groove. Of course, that extra load you had the last session didn't help much! Jason enjoyed it, though. I drove Sunny to Granbury, using the emergency brake so as not to eat up the rotor even further. I'll fix it on Monday and she'll be good to go again.
OK, so maybe I will have to re-think the Kumho 711's. I think I spent more time sideways than I ever have..........fun, but not exactly the fastest way around the track!
Merv
I forgot to plug in the transponder for the first session, but got some interesting info on the second and third.... The second lap on each was the quickest, then times gradually increased througout the session. I came in early the second session, cause I could tell Sunny was slowing..... Last session wasn't quite as bad, but still slowing a bit. Could have been overheating the tires, but I had a similar situation with Speedie at Road Atlanta at the first ARRC Spec Miata race. Turned out I had a rear hub bearing going out. I guess that could be a possibility with 200K on Sunny.
Hey Merv,
Have they gotten any further on the new track?
Any word on when it will be ready to go?
There's more dirt leveled out, but no curbing yet. I asked Gary when he was going to start the curbing and he said "as soon as I get paid." guess that tells the whole story......
