By the way, I've been "volunteered" to be one of the tech inspectors for S2k autocrosses this season. Please leave a $5 bill under your left wiper to ensure that your car passes tech.
Iain
That's funny...$5 is exactly how much the 'Team CB' stickers cost. :tongue:Quote:

The North Texas S2000 Owner's Club is hoping (not finalized yet, but a good chance it'll happen) to have a 1-day Evolution School to raffle off at their first event this Saturday. Entries in the raffle will be limited to only those people who pre-pay for the '04 season on Saturday. If you figure that half the people attending pre-pay for the season (which is probably optimistic), that's a 1 in 25 chance of getting a free 1-day Evo School. Even if you don't win, pre-paying for the season basically means "buy 4, get 1 free" for their events this year.
If that doesn't make the "cheap bastard" in you smile, nothing will! :thumleft:

Has anyone else noticed that Andy Hollis is on the entrant list?
It appears he's bringing the new STS Civic up to join in the fun Saturday. That should be interesting.

Man he's so quick he has a Mazda Dealer sponsoring his Honda!Quote:

You're welcome. It's big enough that people standing at corner station three won't be able to see the people standing at corner station four. :shock:Quote:

Don't be nervous. The S2000 club's insurance requires them to keep maximum event speeds below 60mph, so although the course will be at least twice as long as the PCA course was last weekend, it won't be nearly as fast as the upcoming AX102/TT103 schools will be.
It looks like the entry speed to the slalom near corner four might be a little higher than 60... Man, I am getting so excited to get out there again. It has been a while. Saturday cant come frickin fast enough. I bled the brakes and changed to Hawk Hp+ pads today. Might wash the car tomorrow, just to impress you guys....
That would be impressive - I don't think I've ever seen your car clean. :P :wink:Quote:

I wonder if IMVivid knows that Manwhore will be out in Mineral Wells this weekend. :wink:Quote:

It would appear that the weather is going to hold out for us.
