I still stand by my assessment of the situation when he posted the same thread in the North Texas S2k forum:

Didn't go, had to go to class and run up to work afterward. A friend of mine gave me a few more ideas and I'm looking into those right now. I'll have a nice folder compiled by Monday for the body shop ;)
Just for those of you that like visual stuff...

Hey, Adam, any update?
S.
Not really, spent 3 hours today talking to various people at the body shop and dealership. Got some more paperwork, looking into a lawyer. Basically I was just given the run around.
All this crap for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. My back still hurts from the accident and probably won't ever be perfect again. Looks like my car is just as crippled ::BaHump::
It works like the BIOS of a PC/Mac/notebook; most likely, a small watch battery runs it, just like in a computer.
That or Big Brother Honda is watching.
Well Adam any resolution on this one???
Lawyer... it's probably going to take a while  I'm trying to track down what kind of litigation this falls under, it's a little blurry. Then I have to find a decent lawyer. I have a couple contacts right now, but I haven't had the time to talk to them with all the other crap going on. Good thing I have the next couple weeks off.
Adam, PM sent.
