What I was really thinking was, "Wheeee, thump-thump-thump-thump, take that you Miata guys".

The Evo has a push button gizmo on the dash with settings for Tarmac-Gravel-Snow. I leave it on Tarmac. On my fastest run in the wet I decided to try Gravel. And it worked. Perhaps I should have tried Snow on the last run.

My last run still has the wrong time. I ran a 62. something. I know it was not a 68.264. Where are these numbers coming from?

I e-mailed Phil last night and so far no response. ::Horse:: I would just like to have credit for MY best time of the day, which happened to be my last run.

jolberry, given the number of timing errors we had on Sunday (not the SCCA's fault... the wind was apparently reeking havoc with the timing lights), I'd be surprised if you get that 62.### run back. You're kindness in telling someone that you didn't run a 55.### on street tires will probably be rewarded with that 63.371 that they now have listed as your best time.

Phil sent an email to the SCCA mailing list. He/they know there are problems with times and scoring from the last event and with season totals. They're working on it. Be patient were his words.

I understand there were a lot of issues Sunday and I will be patient. I am not putting the blame on anyone and I appreciate the :clap:
I am not trying to be an::Bum::::Clown::, but if anyone of you had ran a faster time than what was posted you would want credit for it.

haha, kick ass. His tires are terrible, and that was only his 2nd event. I ran with him for 3 runs trying to help coach him along. And then ran a "test" run to try and show him what he was doing wrong. He had a little trouble keeping up with the steering in the slalom, and then towards the end of it would floor it, and well, you saw the cone carnage.

Good times though!

That was an entertaining course for the Elise's first time out. Now, what to do with those almost new 175/55-16 tires that will soon be collecting dust in the corner in exchange for some 205's. Curious what the understeer looked and sounded like from outside of the car. See you guys next weekend in MW.

I was just getting really pissed off about how long it was taking google videos to post the stuff. I guess it was an uncommon situation from what their service people told me. I'll be posting some other stuff up when I get a chance. Probably some older stuff from the M3 also.
