Which reminds me, I need to get back out to MSR soon. I'm curious to see how much time I shaved off with the R compounds.
I'm looking forward to TMS. I just hope my koni's are back from pro-parts today.

AC? Hell, I hope we don't have to use windshield wipers :!:
Course will be much the same as the past two. Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot you can do to a 40ft. wide piece of asphalt...gate here, off-set there, slalom a bit further, more off-sets, Chicago box....
I have it all drawn up, but knowing Pete, the safety guru, some of it will most likely change... Hey POS, try to keep him in check, would'ya?
I was standing at the starting line when that camaro crashed at TMS. listen to the advice given by tailchaser and youll be fine. the guy in the camaro would have been fine if he would have let off the gas. I didnt see any brake lights, he kept his foot in it and went all the way around. If he would have lifted, no big deal, just a few cones. Dont worry about spinning off, just drive smart and youll be ok. besides ive gone 40 backwards into a ditch, its not so bad
I cant wait for the event, my v710s got here today!!!!!  They really look like small f1 tires. SO COOL

lugnutjon fired up the excuse generator (tires were funky). sammm spun the car and may need to borrow your vacuum cleaner. jolberry seems to have figured out this "Miata thing," having now trophied in a hotly contested Tire class, and is now subject to all the rights, priveleges and smack talk we offer. kestrel plugged dfwmiata.com over the PA. Twice. I fatally wounded a cone in the second slalom. That darn E stock Fiero still hasn't blown up.
There were computer problems, but they only affected the last 15-20 runs in each heat, and PA did a fantastic job of making sure they didn't slow things down.
Miatae dominated Street Tire Class, taking the first 4 out of 5 trophies! Congrats to tailchaser for taking 1st, onething took 2nd, sammm took 3rd and jolberry took 4th (you left too soon!).
It was a fun, fast track with little or no room for error. (I did rotate the vehicle and had a corner worker scrambling) The cone-shaggers all got a workout today (myself included!)
The event ran smooth, we got 4 runs and were done before 4:30. Kudos to SCCA for getting it right this year! :thumrigh:
Sounds like a good time was had by most!! :elephant:
