The Eagle Has Landed!

One Fiji Blue Civic Si is sitting downstairs in the parking garage and I have the key(s) in my pocket. Summer tires, no navigation system, completely kick-ass.

Took delivery with 4 miles on the odometer. The finance guy kept going to check and make sure the price they were charging me was accurate. ;) Incredibly car, incredible value, I'm incredibly happy!

I've been on my own for a day or two at a time many times... definitely not easy, but very doable. The difficulty I am talking about is NEVER having a second by yourself. Need to take a shower, better do it before she wakes up... Need to pick something up from the store, she has to come with you. Need to clean the gutters, hmmm... not without a babysitter. Need to get your car inspection done, better strap her into the car seat because she is coming with you. I have all types of newfound respect for single parents of young ones.

Yep. You certainly have to plan your day and be ready and willing to change it at a moments notice.
