Here is the unofficial test from corner one, displaying how windy it was today.

And here is what the sky turned to as we left.

It was too bad about the wind. I really liked the course, especially that back stretch. I would have liked to had four more cracks at it, but not with that wind. Hopefully the weather for the ER event tomorrow will be better.
Dang. We had a dust storm out here this morning, and it blew part of our fence over. When I looked out the window this morning, it was just a red fog.
From Clovis on the S2K forum... :clap:
Thanks to everyone who came out and did their best to make this event happen. It was a nice turnout, ~56 drivers, dispite the looming weather. I don't think anyone could have expected the wind tossing 10'x15' sheet metal panels in our direction. It was unfortunate the panels could not be moved to a more secure location.
We will reschedule this autocross and let everyone know the date via this site and email. Hopefully we have paid our dues and will be rewarded with great weather the rest of the year. :)
The dust started to clear about Denton. Gainesville was just very windy, no dust. Tomorrow will be better, right?
Like jrj512, I liked the course. The Honduh guys did a great job, but when the wind is pushing doubled cones around, what can you do. I wonder how many people lost floor mats? I saw several flying toward Fort Worth.
Top notch, top notch!

Woo Hoo!!! Rescheduled! ::Banana::
Well, I'm glad I didn't drive out there now =D
Does anyone know when the make up event will be?
