Cool. Thanks. I don't care much about my lap time as long as I'm having fun and not sliding too much. All I know is I passed many cars in yellow group and pointed no one by except Jeffman and I waved to him instead of pointing.
:burnrubr:
Glad to hear that y'all had a fun time. Wish I would've been able to make it, but this is peak deer season.
H2R has a HPDE in December w/o the ASE inspection requirement and longer sessions.

Michael/Quan, it was good seeing y'all down south @ Harris Hill yesterday. Talk Gary into doing another Miata track day, and I'll be back up your way for sure!
Ben, nice meeting you - sorry about your brake line troubles.
I had a great time, just wish my tires were still more in the prime of their life. The Star Specs have been great, but I think I'm ready to move to NT-01's next. ::Banana::
Woohoo! Was great time and I agree on the nitto nt-01's! Was good seeing ya again and your car rocks! Sent you a message on your profile page. Hope to see you in May if not sooner.
Thanks, Michael. Looking fwd. to seeing your @ MSRC at some point, hopefully w/ the long track layout. I've only the long course there on my motorcycle, and it was a blast.
I have a short vid from my 2nd session @ http://www.vimeo.com/7635939.
That maroon turbo 300Z was awfully patient. I heard it was about 600hp. I was watching it in your group from the grid. It looked like to me that it went faster up the hill than my car could go down the hill! So, I guess that's what it takes for a Porsche to concede? Is there something in Porsche owners' manuals that says, "Warranty voided if tab removed by anyone other than consumer, or if a red Miata is all up in your a$$."
PS I won't tell anyone you passed on the right.
LOL, GT3 owners seem to be the worst about not giving point bys to Miatas (I have a vid from TWS a couple of weeks ago tailing a 997 GT3 for 10 minutes). Yeah, I know about the pass, but I blame Kyle for pointing me by that way....I was just following his instructions. :) (my vid is for entertainment purposes only, not instructional)
There were a couple of Porsches in my group that pointed me by without too much difficulty. There was an RX-8 and Beemer that could've watched their mirrors better though.
Ben, that Miata brake line is a start. I think you should keep adding Miata parts until you've changed everything.
That Z is a very fast car with a very fast driver. On a clear track he was running in the 1.26 range last time we were out IIRC. Could have been faster for all I know?
Great meeting all of you - NC Eunos had some great, great throttle control, Nails was hitting lines well, and ChrisS is just getting too fast :) I'll get ahead of the curve next time with regard to a trailer and be sure to get my MX5 out next time everyone does an event.
Geezer's too modest. For those not familiar with Harris Hill yet; he's done a 1:26 in his normally aspirated NC and holds the sixth spot on the track's totem board. I think the best spec miata time is a 1:30.
I had a 0:51 but it was only half a lap.
Children, children....remember its not a competition.
If it makes you all feel any better times from my first sessions were
1:44, 1:43 and 1:42. Now time to look at the 2nd session.
