Since I sold the Miata I now no longer own an autocross car. :) Anyone got an open seat they wanna whore out to a trusty amusing tire warmer? Preferably something more fun than my wife's automatc Protege (see: most every car made). ;)
Thanks and I'll check back here later tonight for responses and emails to me (boxsterracer139 at y a h o o . c o m)
Thanks :)

So what's this surface like and where is it again? :)
Whoa there! What in the world is good about the surface at Mineral Wells except the size?!?! I'd take the TMS surface any day.
If you think you have a lot higher grip at Mineral Wells the Vorshlag guys have data acquisition to argue that. Plus, you have to compromise your line at Mineral Wells to stay out of the marbles.
I burned my apple pie today. Daymn oven.
Happy birthday Sammm!
Oh wait. . .
I fully agree with your points about the bus lot and I understand that the first two points reference grip, but in regards to the grip offered by the actual surface material, I think Mineral Wells has more grip than the TMS lot. I also hate the Mineral Wells chews up tires, but I'll just live with it.
Of the three locations at which I have raced, Mineral Wells is now my fav. TMS is probably second, and Bedford is third. The only thing Bedford really has to offer is being closure to home (<10 min) and more food options (which matters less now that I usually bring a lunch). Still, I like moving around from site to site, so I'll take it where I can get it.
I prefer MW to TMS as well, primarily because you can run larger, faster courses out there.
As for Pennington - if we never run there again, I won't shed a tear. The lot is too small to stage a really good course, and now that Nationals is on asphalt getting seat time on a concrete surface is irrelevant.
So where do we meet for coffee tomorrow morning and who'll be there?
I'll be at the McD's at 121/Beach around 7:30. Closest one on my way to LaGrave. YMcDMV.
