would the single wire be long enough to fit on your aftermarket header??

O2 sensors are a 'wear part' anyway (75k-100k). Unless the one you have is 'young' I'd just replace it as a matter of maintenance. If it isn't the cause you'll have a correct spare.

It is fairly new...probably 6-8 months.

I replaced my O2 sensor at 79k miles with a Bosch #15730. In 2006, it cost $65. I had to splice it in. My car now has 135k miles and the O2 sensor is still working fine.

I think I have a spare nib Bosch. I'll look. I wouldn't worry about the cheaper spliced version as long as you so a clean splice job.

^I ordered that Denso last night, was looking at Bosch from local stores. Amazon Prime will have it here by tomorrow! I HOPE that's my problem, but not holding my breath.
