Thank you. smugmug gets the money, because you are buying prints, I think. You may download the files for free. Enjoy.

Meh. Too many pics of car #61. Looking fwd to vid from the 2oz camera on the 8lb mount
I really want to see that vid of me not hitting Nails.
Remember this? Ninja off (no black flag).
hmmm, does this forum support embedding Vimeo? Can't seem to get it to work..
Edit: duh

Yep, I've been off there too, left my splitter there last year.
Hey thanks for the ride, it helped me drop some time.
cone-cerned: Thanks! I will get some of them.
mr brg: I have a problem. I shot it at 1080p and comp can't handle it. I need to either pay Magma to transfer and edit it or borrow someone's rig (video tech day?) or get some new hardware. Going to Microcenter tomorrow to check on the latter. I hate to buy a whole new box when new platforms will be out in spring for hd editing. So I'll see if I can at least get a still to give ya an idea of the clip. Camera was placed a couple inches too low but still see your car.
SixAce: Cool clip of your stealth off. I'll have to remember the on point right before the hill crest next time I mow the grass. Thanks for the tips too.
Just a few laps from the first two sessions on Saturday. Jeff has a nice spin in the 2nd video.
2nd session
nice vids! what car are you driving?
If anyone need their HD footage cut my comp can do it..
For those of us that haven't made the trek in too long of a time :( could someone compile fastest lap times and a brief description of each car. It seems that ya'll have come a long way since the first Hallett weekend many years ago. It would be nice to see this each year to see how much everyone improves.
I hope to have Speedie Jr ready next Spring so I can come and play. Sunny turned over 240K miles last week and got a new set of tires, so I tried an alignment. The bushings are so worn that it couldn't hold a setting on the rack. Now I know why all the tires were worn so badly. New bushings will go in just as soon as I get Dimples running so Sunny can "go under the knife"!
Miss ya'll...............................
SM record is 1:32
johnwag went 1:27.1 in trey's car
trey went 1:28.5
ls2 w/ Hoosiers went 1:29.8.
my car with rear suspesion set wrong (full soft) 1:29.xx with wag and 1:30.9 with me.
Actually the only BEGi thing left on my car is the intercooler. Its all TiAL/ABSURDflow custom stuff now. The suspension (AST 5100's) made the times fall, not the turbo. 9" wheels with 225 NT-01.
here is no way in hell that car is making 150 especially as conservative as I've tuned the spark and fuel table. Its built to last for years, not hit peak power. We'd like to see 140whp but that won't happen until I put a 12-1 crank wheel on it.
I didn't realize you had changed that much of it. I know it's sweet though!
Its developed a beautiful patina over the years:

All three cars looked like they were moving. I looked over my vid of 3 sessions I got videos of and it seems I'm running a 1:44 and I can tell my lines sucked from watching you guys lines in the videos. So hopefully next year I can work on my lines and shave some time. And that's with just my JICs, old 195 RE01Rs and a 2.5 inch FM cat back. Maybe by next year I'll have a 99 head, a header, MS, and a lightweight flywheel.
Where was Gary?????? How about some NC fast laps?
For Merv. My car is an SCCA Solo E stock prep-ed car. One inch FM front sway bar, OTS Koni Sports and Enthusa cat back exhaust. I do have a Hard Dog roll bar and a hard top. For Hallett, I was running Nitto NT-01 tires. The best time I got on my MaxQData was 1:42.4 sec. IIFC, last year I did a 1:43.8 sec. with Kumho V710's. In 2008, my first Miatas@Hallett, I did a 1:48 sec. on RT-615's.
I believe Nails ran a 1:36 in his NC - mazdaspeed springs, RP-F1s & Star Specs.
Fastest I heard from trackdog was a 1:30 or 1:31 - Tein coilovers, race tires, exhaust.
I ran into the 1:42's with cone-cerned. My car is a 1996 with FM springs, Illuminas, NB front sway, NA rear sway, factory 15's with Kumho Ecsta XS.
Gary 06 NC I/H/M/E Flex RPF1 9" R1s 1:29
Quan 06 NC I/H/M/E Flex RX7 8" RS3's and NTO1's 1:34
Michael 06 NC H/E stock intake and midpipe RPF1 9" Star Specs 1:36
All three cars are 144 -150 rwhp.
I ran a 1:40.28 in my 94 with Ebay Coilover 550/350, Bilstein HD, NB front sway, 15x8, 205 Yoko AD08.
Texas most likely had the fastest NC s out there last weekend even faster than the cosworth supercharged NC that was out there.
1:38xxx: '90 stock w/cai, Koni Race shocks, GC 700/450, RB hollow frt/stock r, 14x7 panasport ultralights w/225 R6, lots of seat time this year.
Considering that most of the attendees track only once a year (give or take) I'd say their times are outstanding.
Thanks all. Nice to hear that Gary got the NC under a 1:30. I'm sure that much rubber did the trick! I agree, everyone did well. Can't wait to come and play.................
I don't know why I'm having so much trouble embedding YouTube. :-(
Watch me get passed by Track Dog, NC Eunos and Nails.
Each lap has a different camera position.
Success at last. yaaaahoooo!
Done. Thanks, jeff_man.
Nice video Doug! I really like that high mount view, as it's great for seeing the apexes and lines.
Very disappointing 1:33.3xx here, considering I ran 1:32.xxx last year. Wags ran my car for a few laps but we have no times to compare. I'm guessing he did a 1:30 or 1:31 right out of the gate. I think I inherited Trey's skirt this year...;(
I am going to cut the transponder off the car next time Johnfag gets in my car. After watching that vid I realized that I need to shift balance and put more grip in the front and leave the rear damping where it is. I'm turning-in too late to get off the corner. This (street) car will easily go sub 1:26...hopefully the driver can get it together.
Did anyone take a ride in FM's car with the V-Maxx coilovers? I think "Igor" had them installed (FM II NB). Interested to hear anyone's on-track impressions if they took a ride...
Edit:
This is Igor: http://www.flyinmiata.com/projects/car.php?UID=16
Finally got some of my Hallett video edited. This one is Friday. You can watch it in 720p on Youtube's site.
