Very fun watching you reel 'em in. Nice driving.
Ok, I stand corrected, supercharged, not turbo. Nice run and nice vid...
You should be faster than that old Porsche. I need to ride along with you at the next track day. Your line overall is pretty good. It needs to change in buzzards neck, triple turn and rattlesnake. You tend to follow the line of the car you're following. You should have blown by zx-tex green nb if you weren't mimicing his line. ;)
oh yeah, and F*CK Food Poisoning!!!!! I'm so pissed that I left my camera and my bag at the shop when I had them in my hand!! I got zero video of my car and the session ended before I could pass you!
:D
biggest problems was the lack of brakes (ordering rotors and carbo tech pad for next time out) and people mid turn braking in front of me to the point where i was having to fallow there lines (zx-tex one of them =P) didn't help. was almost side by side in some just from running the faster line. but i do agree with my teh suck in the rattlesnake. have video of Alen pulling on me just because he's smoother.
i slowed down for you to come and play, guess i should have just pitted and came out after you.
Great event Gary. It was a challenge to have so many faster cars to dodge. Sorry if I was a nuisance but I was peddling as fast as I could. This was my son's first track event and he did really well. He is so very hooked.
The spelling and grammar in this thread kills hope in humanity. There is no god.
Sorry to hi-jack...any of you guys have contact info for Shannon at MER?
yeah...more horespower and torque than sense. The turbo overboosts to 13psi on wastegate which is roughly 270whp on a dynojet. lol. I originally wanted a fun 250whp car, I ended up with 261/252 on a dynodynamics and I've changed a few things since which made more power...this car is a monster. I really felt like I went as fast as anyone could go with the old set-up on a stock 1.6. I built this car so I could have a toy to keep fro the rest of my life and its a little more than I planned on. I feel like I'm on one side of the grand canyon, the car is on the other, and I'm bridging the skill gap with each session. It should keep me busy for a few decades.
Finally complied my videos of the intermediate group.
When I get a chance, I will post up the last session of advance group.
Alan
Nice video and great editing. I'm guessing you were bumped to advanced? Pretty fast in the crowd...
Saved the best for last I see! ;)
Great video and great driving Alan! Thanks for sharing it.
Hey Trickyrix, you coulda just pointed Alan by you showoff!
See, I could have just pointed Alan by, but I wanted to make eye-contact just so we were clear...
