If the sky opens up this weekend, I'll be looking for something the next weekend. Its an option for me. I like running with the PCA. I assume this is the bus lot. That is a fun surface...unless its wet, then its just scary.Quote:

Billy,
I may see you there. What's the cost?
I was thinking about going to a drift event that day, but it's kind of just a silly idea.
$30. for non members
Their registration system is down, but you should be able to RSVP to Wendy Shoffit at their website to let her know you are coming.
Is there a max number of participants? Is there a registration cut off date?
Typically they do not restrict the number of entrants. You can register on site the day of the event, but they prefer that you register ahead of time to limit the number of cars that need to be teched the day of the event.Quote:

I sent in my email to Wendy and will be ready for Sunday. I plan to have my new harness installed by then to compliment the rollbar and race seat. This should be good practice for an eventual S2K race....
Any new takers out there for this weekend? Remember, tops down allowed.
Looks like it's going to be a really nice day Sunday.
Of course it is....S2K isn't running.Quote:

Ill probably head out for this one. What are the classes. I am not sure if I want to run on race rubber or street tires.
I think they have a fairly complicated method of figuring out classing. I'm not sure if that's just for the Porsches though.Quote:

For PCA, your class will be 'OJ'....being 'Other: Japanese'. Tires do not matter to them, unless you have a porsche.Quote:

This was my first time running the car in full CSP form and I love it! I still need to get an intake (and a 99 engine ), but the TEIN flex coilovers V710s are really awesome.
I wish I would have run in the same run group as more of you so we could get some more time to chat. Maybe next time.
Sorry I missed it. Very sorry. We made it back home from my grandma's funeral about 2:01 this morning. I set the alarm & hit the sack, but knew then I wouldn't be going, as 101 fevers don't just disappear... BTW... 16 hours in the car with a 101 fever is GREAT FUN!
Sorry to hear about your grandmother, TC.
Glad to see your back safe...
TC, sorry to hear about your grandmother and that must have been an awful drive. I'll see you out at the next one and get better!
Sorry about your grandma TC. You and your family have my condolences.
