Well consider that he might not have seen the dog because...
1. It was blocked by the other cyclist.
2. He was looking at the course up ahead.
3. The video was slowed down and he was actually going faster.
How good are the brakes on those race bikes anyways? Seems for the loss of weight they might go with a smaller pad as they try to keep their momentum going anyways. Who need grippy brakes?

Eh, looked to me like he was steering right to get out of the dogs way when the dog was obviously going to keep moving in that direction. He should have steered left, that way he would have passed the dogs rear end. As it was he dead centered him. If he was looking at the course ahead, he was probably seeing the dog too ;)Quote:
