Car Show Saturday/20th

The Christian Classic Cruisers show is this Saturday from 5 to 8 pm. I will be entering the 1991SE British Racing Green hailstorm casualty I picked up recently. If you want to see an amazing example of what a really good PDR expert can do for a Miata that was written off by it's previous owner, you ought to come check it out. We're talking about hundreds of dents, with the majority of them on the aluminum hood. Some pretty cool 'before and after' examples.

Hey, it's free!, lot of nice cars, from old roadsters to current ones. Precinct Line north of Airport Freeway about a couple of miles and across the street from Lowes.

It's been a couple of years I think, but it may be $10.00 it would be cool if we could get a gaggle of Miata. ::Banana::

Excellent show I have plugged on this board before. This one is the last one for the year. Looking is free and entry is just $10. Lots of eating places around too, from fast food on up to places that have cloth napkins!

Got a couple of pictures of the hail damage. Unfortunately, these photos don't really show the extent of the damage; 622 total number of dents on the Miata.

Steve took the hood off and circled each dent as you can see in the pics. He taped a line down the middle and will be fixing one half at a time. Once he finishes this stage you will be able to see what it looked like before he started, and the finished product.

Looks like fun Stevan............if I had known about this I would have made plans. Looking at the pics reminds me of when I was but a young boy and my Dad was driving his 50 Ford.........

Car looked good cam76034! ::Banana:: I even ran into Beshear as I was walking around the show.

Not as many of the Titus/Kit cars as I figured would be at the show. But the ones in attendance did look good! :drive:

They started out with 10. A Supercharged S2k powered Ultralight blew an engine this morning, the dark red Birkin got hit by a car, and the a red Birkin was shuttling around the owner of the dark red Birkin to try and find parts to get it driving again. This left 7 that made it to the car show.

Nice to meet you Titus. Good to see POS and VFR750 there tonight as well. I also met CARTUNER (not sure if that's right) who owned the blue Miata at the end of the lot. I'll let him introduce himself here and describe the deal he got on it.

Did you all see the Frankentruck? Man, that thing looked like something straight out of Hollywood. I'd hate to see that monster in my rearview mirror! As Dennis Weaver might say, "who is that guy?!"

Cam, you have a good PDR guy.........hope he's cutting you a good deal!
Lots of cool cars of just about any description at this show, one of the Isettas was buzzing around in the parking lot at @ 9:15.....racking up some miles (feet?). I wouldn't want to take it out on Precint Line, you would get run over for sure.
