i have never used one can someone help me reset mine i wont be there till about 1030ish, my iac valve is on order but i still think my timing may be a bit off

I'm also curious to see what my timing is actually set at as well. Don't think I'll bump it up though, 87 octane is nice after paying for 93.
My timing was bumped to 14 degrees and I always used 87. I never heard a ping. It's a noticable difference. Do it, you can go back if you want to. :burnrubr:Quote:

I read on the pointy board that most people were pinging with advanced timing and 87 octane. We'll see how it goes tomorrow night, I still need to fix my freaking HVAC unit as well

seriously ... didnt realize the timing could be that far off on a car and it still run ;) amazing what a change it made in the way my car runs, still idling high but some of the other complaints i have mysteriously disappeared after the adjustment last night .... much appreciated guys
