How can a company that comes up with the 135i turn around and hit the world with this:

Yep that is pretty bad.
Okay, maybe I’m a little weird, but I think it’s kinda cool. Call it an “all terrain sports sedan”.
Then again, I like things like the Mitsubishi Pajero:

The Isuzu Vehicross:

And the Subaru Outback:

Not only is it ugly... I fail to see the point of it!
It's an uglier version of the Mazda CX-7 at [what I'm sure will be] twice the price.
I don't mind the looks, but in purpose it's a bit of a fishcow. Any number of BMW models will be more practical than the X6.
I think they answered a question no one asked.
I think it's nice... the styling doesn't bother me in the least. Whole lot better than it could have been ;)
I kinda like it...
Hell, why couldn't have that been made into a standard car rather than a cross-over vehicle? I like the fast-back look.
I kind of like it, but don't want one. It's like they wouldn't totally commit to building an SUV and left too much car in it.
Dumb. I fail to see the point. It's the platypus of the automotive world.
It's not horrible, but not great either. I don't see this one lasting like the 3/5/7 or the Z3/Z4. My guess is it will sell for as long as the 8 Series did, 10 years or so, and probably shorter than that.
My only hope is that this will start to make liftbacks cool again. I liked liftbacks.
Wow, and I thought more people on this forum had taste! ;)
Kidding, kidding... beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. I suppose that's why Pontiac actually sold some of those Aztecs. :punchout:
And I will admit one thing: since Bangle took over the design work at BMW, the cars usually look better in person than in pictures. For example, looking at the pictures of the 3 Series Coupe on their website, I rarely see one that makes the car look good. But in person, the car is really nice. Soooo, perhaps that X6 will look better to me when I see one on the road. But I doubt that I'll be seeing one from behind the steering wheel. :D
Looks good except the back slopes down too much too fast. It's still better looking than the 135i which looks like they just forgot the whole back half of the car. Most modern BMW's look like crap save the 335i coupe with some nice BBS's and big red brembos.
Honestly, it's a 3 series missing about 40% of the rear. The trunk is almost as much of an afterthought as the horsepower output of the RX-8 engine. :)

I clicked the link thinking it was going to be horrible but *gulp* I kinda like it.
6-Spd, AWD, V-8 Twin Turbo in Black please. :burnrubr:
