Lone Star BMWCCA starts their autocross season on the 1st of March at Mineral Wells. I’ll be out there, breaking in the Toyos and checking the setup changes I’ve made to the car in preparation for some real track time this season (:wink:).

Sigh... contrary to popular belief, I haven't stopped autocrossing entirely. I merely decided that if I wanted to fulfill my goal of getting my competition license, I should probably redirect some (okay, a lot) of the time and money I spend on autocrossing. Hence, this season I will not be making an effort to be compete Nationally, nor will I run twenty plus events a season like I have in years past... but that won't stop me from kicking your ass when I do show up. :wink:Quote:

Is this a typical year with so many events happening in Mineral Wells? Not that I am complaining it is a good sized venue, just curious.

Hope you didn't launch too hard on Saturday - it would suck to lose your warranty on top of cracking that paper thin, $5000 piece of fiberglass the first time you raced it. ::Bleh::
Good thing, that would suck to keep replacing engines and transmissions like some guys if you had to pay for each one :) The fiberglass is fine and the owners manual specifically states they recognize that owners should take the car to the track to experience it's dynamic handling abilities etc.Quote:
