They'll have until 2009 to improve the highways. Let's hope...
I'm so glad I graduate in May. Congestion and roads in Arlington are bad enough now.
The roads are getting better. Cooper is actually drive able now, as opposed to how it was in 2000 when I first moved to the area.
As for traffic, who drives around that area on Sunday evenings or the occasional Monday night?
I don't think anyone lives in the DFW area b/c of how smoothly the traffic is in the entire area.
IMHO, the stadium will have a trickle down effect for Arlington. To include roads, jobs, economy, and mass transit.
This might be the boot in Arlington's collective butt that gets mass transit to pass.
Just my opinion guys. This election will not effect day to day lives as much as people think.
Chris
Well, since it's going to cost Arlington taxpayers $300+ million, I sure hope it has more than a trickle down effect. :PQuote:

Just like trickle down economics... it trickles cuz some rich guy is laughing while peeing on you.
You guys just gave a generous taxpayer funded CORPORATE WELFARE check to Jerry.
Of course he spent a lot of his own money... ON ADVERTISING FOR THE ELECTION...
It's just another way to give him the ability to earn more money.
Hey, Majik, did I miss something? Did you have an operation  :?: Nice job, by the way!
You talking about her, er... his avatar pic?
well altain posted his favorite thing there, I figured I should post one of mine...
It's funny to see how the votes fell...

Now that is hilarious, but only because it says so much about our beloved leader and his constituents.
Can you say "strategory"? I knew you could.
Voter IQ:
Look out West Virginia, we're gunning for you!
Yes, congratulations.
Harumph.
(Y'all are on the hairy edge of booting me anyway...)
It's sad how the rest of the world views us these days. Sad, but true.Quote:
