I'm in...
I've been scheming to get into this one for weeks. Still haven't got my kitchen pass. Is it "on-line registration only"?
Anybody got a spare set of black/dark colored 420 numbers?
I am still on the fence. Part of me wants to go and tryout a different front sway bar setting. I am getting some inside rear wheel lift. The other part says Peen again. It would be the 4th week in a row for me, take the weekend off and mow the lawn.
I'm in with the Boxster. This should be interesting!
I'm in. Gonna go whoop some Porsches! (wishful thinking)
So on the return leg of a high speed run to DFW, I discovered that the tires I was going to burn off the RX8 are, umm... already burned off...
So... anyone wanna sell me a co-drive for Sunday?
I'm in.
Tailchaser,
You can co-drive my ES car this Sunday. Its a 1.6 w/ Azenis', so its not quite the powerhouse you're used to. PM me if interested.
I'm out. Going to take this weekend off. Looks like it's going to be low 60's and windy.
I had a great time. There was about 40 drivers and I think 7 were in Miatas. We got 8 runs on the "Bunny" course. The Maverick Region is a great group to run with; nice people, cool cars, fun course.
Sorry to thread jack, but since the current site and Calander are down I was wondering if there were any autoX events this coming weekend???
Oh yeah....my bad.
Aw, shucks... yer embarrasin' me.
;)
It was a lot of fun on Sunday. Windy? Yes. Cool? Check. Dry and sunny? Yup. Eight runs was a nice bonus, and the course was pretty entertaining, even though I ran nearly all of it in 1st gear. I know, I know... sounds dreadful, but really, it wasn't. And they got a 60 second course out of Pennington International Motor Park, if you'll believe it! Even on tires as bald as my head, the Cayman did very well. The driver was definitely the limiting factor again...
sammm stopped by for a looksy and a chat, but he didn't make an offer on my Cayman :D. Great to see you, and that Vette is a real beauty!
