PCA Maverick Region Autocross#4, Pennington Field, 5/17/09

I might go to this. I submitted a course for their design contest and I will go for sure if they use my course, but I will probably go even if they don't.

Anyone else? This would be a great time to try out the POS IV.

and here I was all depressed that there were no AutoX's this weekend. I am planning on attending this one, unless I can get into the third Evolution class for Sunday. One or the other I will be AutoXing!!!

I participated in the TT at MSR Saturday so the wife gets the Sunday Drive next week end. Don't get me wrong, 35 shinny P-Cars running the back roads is not a bad outing.

I believe they have rental helmets, i have an XL that you can use if not. The classing is much simpler than SCCA, come on out and enjoy!

Yes, you can use one of their loaner helmets, but they require a head sock. You can bring your own sock or buy one from them for $5.

Actually, their classing used to be simple, but now it's more complicated. They will help you with it at the event.

As in 14 total, including PCA? Do they cancel events due to either low attendance or weather?

I thought I was done with AX... but any sparsely-attended event that's not in Mineral Fscking Wells has my attention.

I'm trying to register on their site but getting a "The web site you are accessing has experienced an unexpected error.Please contact the website administrator" error.

Did anyone find out if you can register on site? I want to attend, but have a friends graduation party to attend the night before. I would prefer not to lose my entry fee simply because I can not manage to wake up. Even though I do love bagels, and normally that would be enough to get me out of bed, I fear this time it may not be enough. :D

I received an error when I followed a link from this thread, but I went back up to their main page and drilled down to the event and got setup no problems.

Ben it was fun watching you shave time off of each of your runs. In fact I think you beat your early goal by 2 seconds, Congrats!!!

I will get the video edited from the event. I was trying several different shifting points but second all the way until the left turn at the beginning of the back section and shifting back into second before the final leg of the course was my fastest time of the day.
