10,000 RPM and exotic race bred technology. But mostly the RPM.

To get 500 HP at 10,000 RPM you only need to produce 262.5 Ft. Lbs. of Torque.

HP=(torque * RPM)/5250

Torque = (HP * 5250)/RPM

But I would LOVE to own one. ::hypno::::Good::

Z06 is in the 6 range. Elise is 10. 2.2 is absolutely nuts but I bet it's severely traction limited. I think a Z06/Ford GT is also close to 7 seconds for 0-100.

I want to know what ignition system they used. At 10000 RPMs they are firing each cylinder 83.3 times per second. I bet its COP.

2.4L V8??? The pistons must be itty bitty and suitable for framing.

How about the 1951 BRM F1 engine. V16, 1.5L, supercharged, 600 bhp at 12,000 rpm, max boost - 83 psi. Bore 1.95 inches, Stroke 1.90 inches. LINK
