Wow.... I wonder what they did to the setup to get that much more power to the ground.
Cue the M3 for sale. ;)
I need a tissue
Wow.
Needs more tire.
Chris
2.2 pounds per horsepower! I think a Vetteis around 9 lbs.
DAAAMMMMNNNNNNN i need one
I wonder how that motor sounds...
Will that motor fit in my Miata?
I hope it comes with a box of Depend! :-)
Nice
I want to know what ignition system they used. At 10000 RPMs they are firing each cylinder 83.3 times per second. I bet its COP.
I'd bet that motor is cheap to repair, too.
Just do like the guys in england are doing, put it a turbocharged GIXXR motor. google youtube "SmartCar beats Ferrari"
pure insanity to put that much horsepower in something that light and short.
2.4L V8??? The pistons must be itty bitty and suitable for framing.
Yeah it's like a motorcycle engine hence the 10k rpms.
How about the 1951 BRM F1 engine. V16, 1.5L, supercharged, 600 bhp at 12,000 rpm, max boost - 83 psi. Bore 1.95 inches, Stroke 1.90 inches. LINK
