Something strange is afoot...

So I drove a 4 wheeled vehicle to work today for the 2nd time this week... Oddly, today, it was not raining, but I needed to run get some shoes put on the Miata.

Lovely weather this morning, eh? Great day to have the top down.

So... between the run to Forest & Plano Rd and then to the office I passed a few convertibles...

5 Miatas - all top up
6 P cars - all top down
4 Minis - all top down
3 BMWs - all top down
7 Jeeps - all top down
1 Solstice - top down
1 Sebring - top down

Pretty sure some joker in a Montego recognized me going north on Plano Rd, since he wouldn't get close enough for a positive ID. Since he knew he was in trouble for driving around with the top up. Pussy.

I rarely drive my Miata to work. I did today. The top was down. I had a great time.

I wish I would have but the 636 is in a couple of pieces after going down at the last trackday. I've gotta get the new sliders and bolts this weekend.

When I drive my Jeep its no top as well. 2 wheels has nothing to do with it.

I drove the Miata downtown today. It was raining last night and dark when I left, so I couldn't tell if all the storms had past so I left the top up. Coming home was PERFECT top down driving.

I felt sorry for the guy on the Ducati next to me yesterday. Form Beltline to GB, it was comming down in sheets around 6:15 pm. I'll admit i was :cat: in the left lane with my bald a$$ tires.

Today however it was windows down and sunroof open, romping it up the tollway.

I rode from Clayton, Ok bck to the house sunday. in other words i rode my R1150R for something like 6 or 7 hrs in the rain. id post pics of the trip but im typing this from my phone
