So, who all is planning to attend the SCCA Solo Nationals this year?
It will be me and OZMDD in my STS car. The new shaved 195 Toyos should arrive today.
I think that it would be fun next year to maybe try his STR car.

Hmmm guess I can make the trip, I have nothing going that week..

Looks like OZMDD had to bail on me, but I picked up Jimmie Stewart for a co-driver. I bet Jimmie could beat up OZMDD. ;)
Perhaps, on the way up and back, Jimmy can teach Jimmy to SING!
Sharon, Phil & I will be there in STS. Heading up Friday.
good Bob and I are going up either late Fri or early Sat
Jimmy and I are heading up early Saturday.
I'll be there with my posse! We are heading up the Wednesday before to do the ProSolo Finale. Right now I'm fourth in the ProSolo points series so I hope things go well there.
I may do somethings I have NEVER done before... use a trailer!
Early registration closes next Wednesday (Aug 11) at 4PM when price doubles.
...So if anyone is looking for a tire/seat warmer... :D ... I'm your guy...
It seems his co-driver has not yet registered.
I would take you, but I am rolling with Jimmie.
Maybe post something here?
I'll be there in DM. :)
For those of you interested, we're trying to have an area for a Texas Region Compound in Paddock.
We know a few folks in the Paddock worker spots that can make this happen! ;)
Late fees start on Wednesday.
I'm in. Gonna tear up STX in a Bimmer.
Mom approved... like snapping the cord, eh Mark?
I'll be there in ESP in a '99 Mustang Cobra. My girlfriend will be codriving Tommy Saunder's B-Mod Dragon in open class (not ladies).
Stephen,
Glad to hear you found a ride. Which BMW are you driving?
I will be driving a 2001 330i in STX. Co-driver is out of Minnesota, and runs up here in Central Region (he was actually one of the drivers in the XP s2000 that was at the Texas National Tour stop). Not really sure if the BMW would be similar to anything else I have driven. Of course, I have had alot of experience running premium German sports sedans/hatchbacks. :D
That must be Matt Murphy's car. Matt's a good guy. Tell him he still owes me a beer from the Fort Worth Tour.
on Saturday, 20 entries in STS
today, 46
going to be fun
54 entries in STX - second most popular class behind Super Stock. I really wish I could make it this year. :(
48 entries in STR - more than any other Street Touring class besides STX! I predict the SCCA will grant the class full status next year instead of leaving it a provisional class based on the overwhelming popularity it has shown this year. I know if I was in the class I'd be writing my letter right now asking for it!
SS is a little light this year with 58. We'll be there the whole week.
It's not a moon, It's an STX!Quote:
Running in STX ain't like dusting tire class in D-stock, boy! Without precise calculations, you could fly right through a wall, or bounce too close to a cone and that'd end your event real quick, wouldn't it?
Hooray! I got a spot in the Evo school on Sunday. That will give me a reason to be there on Sunday, other than for Jimmie to be there for his work assignment.
I bet a lot of folks got it but weren't dorky enough to comment.Quote:
I was wondering who would get it.
Anyone driving up Monday to Nationals? I am in need of a ride up!
Christopher
STX 197
Anyone staying at Value Place?
