Now that we have one under our belts (well, almost), we need to start thinking about the second Div in June.

Sammmmy is not alone...
Work is trying very hard to quash my dreams of a trip to Schertz.....
There is always this if you do not make it.
82 Entrants for the San Antonio Divisional - where is everyone? Its going to be warm but I'm sure it will still be fun. See you there!
Best of luck to all our Local Hero's who are making the trip to San Antonio! ::ConeUP
I'm curious who you heard it from. Retama is one of the best sites in the Austin/SA area. We ran here for YEARS in late 90s/early 2000s until a horse owner had us kicked off. He's gone now, so we're back and we missed it! Surface is grippy asphalt and a good size. Worth the trip!

So far, so good. Both myself and LostLorin are leading our classes, him much more so than me. I need to keep on my toes, tomorrow.
We finished up by 1 PM, so we got out of the sun early.
Nothing wrong with the surface at the site. There is plenty of grip and no issues from gravel or sand. It is a good course, too.
Looking forward to tomorrow!
I guess I'm confusing what I've heard about Gulf Greyhound with this horsetrack site. Glad to hear it is a good venue. Good luck TX region!
Good times. LostLorin and I both won our classes, but mine was close -- it came down to fourth runs where we swapped positions.
Great courses, good venue, and a good job by the SASCA and SPOKES folks. The weather was not as humid as here and we had a good breeze the whole time, so it was not as sweaty as here. Plus, Margaritas on the Riverwalk!
Congrats guys!
Nice job guys!
Had a great time down in SA. It was really cool that the courses both days were completely different; that was a lot of extra work but worth it.
Great weekend; Ricky and his team did a great job!
The only low point for the weekend was the porta-potty placement <--> wind direction. It was quickly fixed and the rest of the event went really smooth...
