The brand new Dallas Karting complex opens for business this weekend! Looks like fun!
For $55, you can get two 10-minute heat races in their 15 horsepower (60 mph top speed) adult karts.

I'm thinking about going to check it out either Saturday morning (I've gotta be back at the house by 1pm) or Monday - anyone interested in joining me?
I would be up for going over there on Monday. I drove past it a few months back to check it out. It is 20 minutes from my house... I would guess it is about 30 for you.
Pricier than I would've expected, especially considering the drive to get there. Oh well, it'll keep the kids away. :)
Expensive, but I think it would be fun to do at least once.

With 8 or more people, we can have a "Birthday party" and get two 12 lap races for $50/person.
^I would be in for that. With enough prior notice I'm sure I have at least one friend that would be in as well, Maybe two.

OKay guys, here's the deal:
I just got off the phone with Mike at DKC - he is going to check their schedule and respond back with available times for a "party" on Monday, assuming I can herd 8 of you cats out there at the same time. This way we'll be guaranteed two races against each other, regardless of who else is out there.

I'm going to ask for a morning time, probably 10-11 am to start. Since it's going to be 90+ degrees on Monday (and since it's Labor Day), I'd rather do this earlier in the day. If that works for you, let me know in this thread and PM me your email/phone number, so I can keep you posted.
