I plan to attend.
Me too
Me three
The Dog-Days of Summer will be over. September 25th is the third day of Fall. That virtually guarantees us perfect 80 degree weather. I think the picture of Damon looking at the date and location is pretty cool.
I didn't realize that "looking ahead" meant chronologically.
Actually, I think he was looking to see where the sound meter was located.
Or he thought he lost another tire! ::Rimshot:
Less than 2 weeks away.
Andy
You should do the BMW event this weekend. Show a little love. Open up the Mustang on a long course.
I'm leaving Wed night on a business trip and won't be available for racing this weekend. My Mustang is a half breed not a thoroughbred.
To loosely quote Bill Murray from Stripes "We're Americans, we are all mutts" Whose more adorable than a mutt.
Andy, now that you met me once you should trust me with your Mustang ;)
Your Miata is faster.
anyone have a spare set of race wheels/tires they can rent me for the day? i don't stand a chance in street mod on street tires.
SM-T?
Yeah, T-SM would be your best bet. AFAIK, the only place to rent R-comps is from the Unicorn Store near the Affordable Porsche/BMW dealership.
I'll be there!
Just run it in DP. You are guranteed a trophy, unless someone else shows up.
Just run the tires you have. The Miata goes in Super Street Mod just FYI. So it would be TSSM. Depending on who shows up in SSM you might do better in SSM (open) than TSSM (street tire). If you are just starting out you can also run novice, NSSM.
Why is Andy so into DP?? That's gross...
I have no idea what DP might mean except D-Prepared. I'm scared to ask.
This will be Bandit's second attempt at designing a good course.
I should be there with some T-SSM action.
The family-friendly thing went out the window when Nomadtrash got all DP...
I promise not to use 50' radii this time.
i forgot to mention that my miata is supercharged with roll bar, sways, suspension, etc...
You will have fun in whatever class you decide. It is 95% driver and 5% car in any class.
I have been compiling my PAX finishing positions since I first started running the Vert. They are 87%, 84%, 73%, 65%, 72%, 60%, 61%, 50%, and 41%. I think this shows an improvement. I have no doubt that with more seat time in the car I will get down in the top 25%.
