This surprised me. But after calculating the average age of my fleet (94, 98, 01, 09), I guess I am about average.
The average age of my parent's fleet (84, 86, 96) is 23.3 years. They have not bought a new vehicle since the purchase of their 1984 Chevy Silverado pickup!
For my fleet, 1963, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2000, 2002 = 19.3 years. If we count my 1948 Ferguson, the average is 25.7 years.
1957, 1992, 1993, 2000 = 26.5 years.
2002, 2002, 2007, 2007 = 7.5, but I'm working on it...
2003, 2010, 2011, 2012 = 3 years, but you knew that.
'03, '06, '07 = 6.66 years
Jim M
1992 = 20 years.
Including all of my cars from the past year though 2004, 2000, 2006, 1992 = 11.5. Pretty close.
1967, 1994, 2002, & 2009 - 19 years
Unlike Titus & cone-cerned all my stuff can move under its own power. ::Banana::
'79 Accord, '85 RX7, '94 Miata, '00 F150 - 22.5 years old
But before the Miata my DDs were the '85 RX7 and an '84 BMW... the 7 was the summer car and the Bimmer was the winter car.
1990, 2001, 2006 = 13. Not too far off.
I read that as the average American made car, so it's a zero for me. 2 Mazdas and a Honda, all foreign.
93,97,00 so 15 yr. average.
19.5, lol.
2000 (Dodge Truck) + 2003 (Wife's truck) + 2005 (s2000) = 9.33 years
(and all thankfully paid for!)
'97 (f150), '07 (mx-5), '09 (is250) = 7.6666666666666666666666666
'94, '07, '08 = 9 ave.
95 miata, 98 mustang, 99 expedition - 14.666
avg mileage 215
i am feeling the need for something a little newer to replace the expedition. the tranny has to go sometime on it at 290k

And, this Ferguson runs, it's the '63 Impala that doesn't run TODAY.
1988, 1992, 2005, 2006 = 14.25 years
1945,1959,1962,1963,1964,1990,1992,1993,1993,1995 = 36.4
2005, 2006 = 6.5years
2006 and 2007= 5.5, just sold our 2009 which would've put it at 4.66
99, 99, 06, 07 = 9.25 average
Hm 59, 83, 94, 94, 96, 09 = 22.8 average. I was doing OK until I inherited the 59.
94, 05 = 12.5 average.
If the 66 ran, the average would increase a tiny bit to 23.67.
Very early model GTR?

1995, 1996, 2005 = 13.33 years
Well it's not American 190 SL Mercedes. Growing up my dad drove this car for as long as I could remember. BTW not mine just the same color combo.

65, 66, 68, 83, 94, 96, 03, 04, 10
47, 46, 44, 29, 18, 16, 09, 08, 02 = 219 / 9 = 24.333.....
'94, '95, '99, '03, '06, '08 = 67 / 6 = 11.16
4 Japanese, 1 Korean, 1 German, 0 American
