Now with bacon.
3 warps to Uranus!!:D
They say that on a clear night, one can see Uranus with the naked eye.
Reminds me of an old joke. How are the Starhip Enterprise and toilet paper alike?...................... They both circle around Uranus and wipe out Klingons. On that note, based on another thread we are learning too much about JJ's private life.
Thank for the map. Maybe I'll find it this time. :D
That is the course map. We can convoy to the event site with Russ and Blanton.
I'm tired of bugging Jerrett for a co-drive. Anyone else got a spare seat for hire?
Why don't you drive your own car!
Andy
same lot for the course ?
Yes
78 degrees and sunny this Sunday. Perfect weather for an autocross.
Online registration closes Friday at midnight.
Do we have a course map yet? Inquiring minds want to know.
Update: We will be using the WEST lot for this event (the one used for paddock/grid at event #1) and the SOUTH lot will be paddock/grid. You will need to enter the site on Neal Gay Dr. (south entrance) to get to the parking area. There will be NO ACCESS behind the arena, as the entire west lot and road will be closed-off at 6:30 am. The upside is that we should not have issues with spectator vehicles passing-through the same area that race vehicles are entering/exiting course.
This lot also slopes down to the north for drainage purposes, so walking the course and observing the on/off-camber turns is advisable.
Course map should be up tonight, tomorrow at the latest.
Despite what everyone says about you Mikey, you are a true man of the people.
Here is the course map.
Is that a spinning triangle from a rotary?
That looks like a way better course than the one the Viper club used on that lot. Should be way more than a 20 second course anyway.
Looks like a great course. But one car on course at a time essentially. Should be interesting.
Yes, definitely a single-car course. Trying to put two cars on these lots is really pointless. Even so, the event should move-along at a good pace.
It really shouldn't take too long to complete the event unless we have 100 people sign up or some othe unlikely scenario.
Make the triangle optional to balance tire wear.
Entry list and registration
If we make it optional will you sign up?
R-L-R vs R-R-L
I agree, make it optional. I think going opposite of the way you have would be faster and lend to the natural flow of the course.
I'm going to try to be there...depends on if I get my brakes done on Saturday.
You don't need brakes. They just slow you down.
Aha...so THAT'S been the problem. :drive:
Kneel, gay!
Can we still pay onsite if we missed online registration?
Online registration is open till midnight tonight. For some reason it decided to close last night but I have reopened it. We do offer cash on site registration from 8-9.
Mesquite Arena will have the restrooms in the arena available for us. They have offered to let us use the 8 Second club room or patio for our awards ceremony. Adult beverages will be available for purchase in the club after the event is over.
More like a tux t-shirt and a 10 gallon hat.
