Who needs MS tuning?

I'm thinking about renting the Exatorq dyno on July 28th or 29th and tuning all these MS2 cars in DFW for anyone who's interested in. I don't know what I'm going to charge per car but it will be half of what you'd pay any shop to do the work; the more people who show up the cheaper your price. I've done about 8 FI Miatas and 10 NA Miatas on the dyno so it won't take long considering I've tuned just about every engine configuration we do aside from ITBs.

For edification, what do you do to tune NA engines? Does this include stock, or are you only talking about those with aftermarket ecus and stuff?

Only MegaSquirt 1, 2, 3 or other. I'll tune something else if someone needs it, but I'd rather not.

We're tuning the first batch of cars on 8/5, let me know if you want it. There will be another mid-August session. I need to pay for all this Alpinestars gear, lol.

Not yet but I know what AFRs to shoot for, the rest is all just adjusting spark and reading the dyno.

If anyone else wants to get in on Sunday, I have open spots. I'd like to get at least two more.

My parts won't be here in time so unfortunately I'm out for this one.

I'd like to do another round of tuning later this month to get all the cars out of the way for Hallett. My original plan was to pay for the MS2 I bought as a "learning tool" because I was bored. Then, I decided this would pay for the Alpinestars gear I bought. Now I'm trying to get the money together to justify the purchase of MS3Enhanced for my turbo car, lol.

Here's what we did today:
MSpnp 1.6 with an intake, awesome header, EV14 injectors, and 2.5" exhaust

Every one of these cars is currently pulling ~2-4* of spark due to the 120*f+ intake air temps from the 104*f heat. Give us some 90* or cooler air and these cars will dyno much higher.

I might need my turbo'd 90 1.6 tuned soon ms1 with a ms2 daughter board and 750cc injectors tuned for e85 if you can

I need to tune my MS2 miata, If any one can help? I can trade for tire work or an alignment.

Zombie thread much?

Is it that bad to zombie thread? just thought it would be better then making a whole new thread. this is urbandictionary definition of a zombie thread. A forum thread that has been dead for over a week and then out of nowhere some asshole brings it back to life.

Its a no win on forums. You either get called out for not searching or for reviving a dead thread. I would ignore the static. ;)

Or get some thick skin. Trey tried to be a hood ornament so he's been out for a while.

If that was being called-out, you're in for a rough ride on this forum. There is very little you can do/say here that won't elicit a smartass response, and we like it that way. Keeps everyone humble, except for people like me who just don't get it. Cheers, assholes!

My comment was forums in general. Haven't been here long enough to get a good feel for the smartassivness of this particular forum.

I approve of this necropost. One of the biggest downsides to running a Megasquirt is finding a good tuner who knows their way around it.

Thanks guys. I drive the car to work (2 miles) every day, but it does need some tuning. I will try to get my VE table values, then I will take it to any local dyno to fix my ignition table
