Yup. It's in the 2012 rule book.
And the Miata is CS, correct? Here's the 2012 car list:

ken o Remember the cup holder incident. You don't want a repeat of all that emotion.
I think all 997 GT3 non RS are eligible.
The previous Carerra worked out so well for you that I cannot imagine you NOT trying it again.
There has been one 997.2 GT3 running SS this year and doing well (David Lehman), even with car (ECU) issues and non-alien driver. Be sure to get a car with the dynamic engine mounts as ti really helps with wheel hop.
The 997.2 ought to be a nice dual-purpose ride. Do you get to move-up your Douche-rank when switching from M-cars to P-cars?
It's not a convertible or a coxster so unfortunately his d-bag rating stays the same.
Hate yellow.
Not a 997.2.
Nice 997.2

It only has one nut.
Nice 997.1

Both are no longer for sale, I guess you bought them both already.
Have you checked on the maintenance of brakes and other expendables? Guessing you are thinking about tracking the car.
One of my dream cars.
.
Can't be too much worse than the E92 on consumable costs, eh?
Last I heard, this was a DD/autox car, and the E46 becomes full-time track car. Of course, that information is over 2 hours old, so its probably useless.
Yes Ken, come back to the dark side and join the evil empire AKA Volkswagen. You will also receive a complementary gift bag with each purchase of a p-car. That's why we have seven, we love the gift bags.
A GT3 is actually my lottery car for track/AX.
I'd be happy to be your co-driver Ken :)
Oh snap. Literally.
Ironically, that car still looks so badass that is drive it as-is.
I think all the 997.2 have one center nut (like me). That probably means the wheels are cheaper because they only drilled one hole not five.
Center lock wheel nuts are $200+ each, as is the special service tool required to remove/install them.
Torque value is ~450 ft-lb, so you need a torque multiplier to remove/install them.
Yeah, I'm too cheap to own a p-car.
This IS KenO we are discussing. He'll just buy the company that makes the nuts and TQ multiplier, take a few samples, then flip the company.
I have a torque wrench for sale that goes to 600 ft lbs.
From the couple I've driven they REALLY do respond well to some good shocks. Some Motion Control Suspension double adjustables should do wonders for the car's ease of drivability. On track I've only got experience in a GT2RS and it drove fine with the OEM stuff...so maybe it was the smoother track and higher speeds...but in AX the shocks did wonders IMO.
You need to get the GT3 and go race against Hollis in SS, now that he's a baller, too.
Ken can't get one now since Andy would take all his Hoosiers. ;-)
Looks like a good candidate for a Crapcan racer
lol I hate you guys ;)
