Propwash Today!

Steven Boyd asked someone to post this.

Y'all are all welcome to stop by Propwash today. This is an all day party, so come early and stay late. Bring the kids. All are welcome.

He usually has a keg of Shiner :beer:

Barbara will give a few rides in the Cherokee till about 3.

Chili at 6pm

Poison Okies play at 8pm.

Directions:

Take 35W to 407 Justin Exit
Go West on 407
There is a 1 block jog south of Justin.
Turn left at dead end and right at the boot store windmill
Go 3 miles and then left on Bill Cook
Follow it around to the airstrip
Propwash is the 4th hanger on the west side of the runway.
Look for some Miatas.

The 407/Justin Road exit is closed on I35E Northbound due to construction...

Take the Valley Ridge exit and go up the access road.

Or you can take 114 to 156, go north and hang a left on 407 in Justin, then follow the directions from there. Bill Cook heads south, then turns 90 degrees to the west. Bonanza is the 2nd or third street on the right. His is the first "real" looking house on the right.

Yeah, ya'll come on out! Very relaxed atmosphere, mostly out in the hanger! there will be some hot rods there too!

Poison Okie's are rockabilly type band. i've never heard them though.

Those of you who didn't show REALLY missed out. The food was great, the beer was refreshing, the company fantastic and the Poison Oakies rocked the hanger!

Thank you Stevan and Barbara for another awesome Propwash Blast!

Trina and I had a great time!

We need those guys for the next shindig! Ya dig daddy-o?

Nobody is killing the messengers, but I need more advanced warning in order to arrange things so that I can make it out. Us old married guys have lots of family obligations to tend to... :? :razz: I would have liked to make it to Stevan's party, and I'm sure it was a blast. The drive out to his place can be pretty fun too, since there are some nice curvy roads out there.

Funny thing about the title of this thread... I thought someone was "bashing" (i.e. saying bad things) about Stevan. I was all ready for a fight! :punchout:
