More information on the event!
I plan on being there. So watch out! :king:
Just kidding. I'm going to try to make these times look a little more like my times at the PCA event did, and a little less like they looked on Sunday. :silent:
Maybe we could meet at Einstein Bros. at 7:00a instead of McDonald's? Or has this become a superstition thing? :?:
S.
I'm out... I need all the http://www.dallasimports.net/forums/...t/sleeping.gif I can get nowadays...
I'm hoping to make both the S2K event and the ER event this weekend. :burnrubr:
I'm definately going to S2K, but don't think I'll make ER.
Ill be at both. srivendel if no one else is going to be at Mcdonalds, that sounds fine. Where is it? What do they have to eat?
It's in the same shopping center as McDonald's but it's in the "strip" part of the center that has the Sack'n'Save, etc. It's toward the Central Road end of the center.

Einstein Bros. Bagels. Can't miss it. Yellow and black motiff.
183 & Central
2200 Airport Frwy., Ste. 500-A
Bedford, TX 76022
Here's the menu. Scroll down for breakfast and bagels.
It might make a good change of pace, and there should be something for everyone there. Micky D's is fine if that's what people want, though.

I was waiting on a radiator. It showed up and I got it and the new lower hose installed tonight, so it looks like I'm ready for Sunday! :cheers:Quote:

Damn what a long and Africa hot day it was today! :sunny:
The geniuses at ER decided to attempt to replicate a course that was similar to what the SCCA did last weekend with a big Nascar oval taking up ½ the course. So two cars on course at time was all they could do. Heats were taking over 2 hours to complete… But on a slightly positive note we did get all our six runs!
But on a Happy note I won my class!
But not in your car!! Cheater...Quote:

Sorry I couldn't make it but I was busy trying to get the M3 running. I lost a hose on the idle control valve. A lot of work around the house. I wish I could have been there, but I'm glad I didn't have to corner work for 2 hours at a time.
You must be present to win! :razz:Quote:

lugnutjon won on new tires, by less than a tenth of a second. I thought I had 2nd locked up, but that damn out-of-towner (we love ya, Chris! ) and his brand new V710s managed to sneak by me on the last run, beating me by a couple of hundredths. Kestrel was fourth, and John Baker was just behind him in fifth. I think the spread from first to last place was about 6/10ths of a second. The spread from 1st to 3rd was less than 2/10ths. :shock:Quote:

Thanks General. Now if they'll just update the Challenge Cup and Rapide Pax Point standings...
BTW, notice the DSQ by a couple of folks names (Tire Class, Novice Class). Those people never showed up for their work assignment :ncool: , so ER DSQed them. I'm guessing that at least one of the two may have actually worked, but never checked in with the Worker Chief. So remember to check in!
The ER points will be updated early next week. Keep your pants on! At least you have the first 4 events to look at.
It will be next week because I am on my way to Denver for the National Tour this weekend.
Later,
SpinOutF500
What's a "National Tour"?
:geek:
Good luck out there, and wear your ER stickers proudly!
Wayne beat me by .004 for STS class honors! Spanked me by half second for the money though...
