Too easy to register, I am there.
Sadly, since the date changed, I will not be there :-x
Not that it matters, but I'll be in Florida that week... visiting the in-laws.Quote:

I'd hope, being on vacation and all... but I can tell you know that my father in law (who builds houses with HabiJax - an off-shoot of Habitat For Humanity) will be happy to have the extra hands around for whatever projects he may have.Quote:

Hey this event is filling up fast! If you plan to go you better sign-up soon!
Entry List
No real sense in breaking my year-long trend of missing NTOCS2K events :???: , so I'll see you all at the SCCA event at TMS (Bus Lot) the next day...

I'm not going to make it either... moving it up a week impacts some previous plans... Hopefully I'll make the one in November.
Course map is up!
Damn! That back stretch looks fast! Hell, the whole thing does! 8-)Quote:

During the event on Saturday, we will be touching base regularly with family in Austin getting updates on Austin weather. If that weather becomes severe we will find a good stopping point for our event, pack up, and depart Mineral Wells with time to make it back to DFW.
Based on the improved conditions, we hope that you will join us at the ring tomorrow. Gregg Lee has laid out a fantastic course that will be lots of fun.
Please check this thread http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=323881 Saturday before you leave for Mineral Wells. If, for any reason the weather takes a turn, we will post an update here.
So are we meeting up at McD's in the morning?? :sunny:
I guess so! :queen:
I give up, are we? :santa:Quote:

Should I top off my tank now for the return trip? Which means I will have to do my runs with half a tank of gas!
No shortages of gas in North Ft. Worth, but YMMV!
According to the posts on the S2K forum, there's gas in the Wells.Quote:

Congrats to joe.(ihaventracedinmonths).miata for winning Miata street tire! Who won Miata-R today?
I think the general schooled the other kids in R class - must be trying to motivate potential buyers for his '99 sport...
Yes yes, great lap Joe! :burnrubr: That was an odd course, but it sure was a challenge! BTW the gas station near the track had gas for 2.79 up from the 2.69 in the morning. That station is usually higher than here in town, but it is actually lower by a few cents now.Quote:

Gregg Lee had FTD with a 94-something, iirc.
Another fun day. I agree that the course was "challenging", to say the least. I was literally panting from exertion by the end of the runs. What I would have given for power steering today!
What a great day! The folks at S2K put on the best AX in town! :thumrigh:
I never did get that last slalom at the finish correct, felt like I could have gotten out of the car and walked it faster!
Results are up guys: http://www.s2000.org/nts2koc/autox/2005_0924.htm
Dang Sammm!
Beat me by 0.082! :thumrigh:
