Hey guys I got my shocks and springs and am needing to find a good place (ie. cheap and fast) that can put them on when I'm on one of my days off from work. Any suggestions?

A long time ago... I took my 92 B&T to the Goodyear at FM3040 and Business 121 to have my AGXs installed. Don't recall the price, but it was around 250-ish.
Now, I'd do it myself... VatoZone has the spring compressor you can rent.
Hell, if you can grill some burgers & have some drinks we could probably have a tech day at your place ;) hehehehe - unless you live in apartments. If that's the case, we could do it in my driveway if the weather cooperates. There are plenty of people with the know-how on replacing shocks.
RJ
Yeah, I live in an apartment and my days off are Wed. and Thurs. If someone is up to a tech day on one of those two days I'd be in.
Hey, I wouldn't mind joining you 2 for a tech day! I would like to do the rev-limit ecu mod that CM knows about and have plenty of changing Miata shocks experience. I have a spring compressor too. I'm good for any days after Christmas except Jan 5-9.
If you have the crystal, I have the soldering station! (try Tanners over in Carrollton if you don't have it yet)
We can throw some venison brauts in a skillet full of beer & simmer them... then grill 'em...
I'm open anytime next week - I'm off from the Friday before Christmas through (and including) the Tuesday after New Year's.
RJ
I'm off until the third... if you can't find a spot for a tech day after Christmas, let me know...
Anyone want to do this on Wed. Dec. 28th? Where could we have it and what time?
My place is close to yours... Lewisville...
RJ
I'm in Frisco...Quote:

I may be able to lend a hand as well.
So what all do we need and what time do we want to meet? RJ you said you live in Lewisville?
Jamie
I could help on a Wed, if we are doing it during the week. I have done a few suspensions aswell.
Can you actually get a car in Channelmaniac's garage if the weather is crappy next week??

I'd appreciate some help on that from members who have done it. In turn, I can lend some suspension swapping experience - I've done well over a dozen Miata shock swaps.
Thats a negative... he started clearing it out when he was looking for a SPEC car, then he got in to arcade games. Last time I was by there, he had 6 or 8 arcade games jammed in there.Quote:

Well then, let's call it a tech day at my place. I know it's a helluva drive for altiain but pretty local for the rest of us.
Let's get a better idea of what day we're looking at...
Either Wed or Thursday is when I can make it. Just let me know what time and how to get there. :burnrubr:
Does Thursday work for everyone? I'll PM the relevant details after we settle on the day and time.Quote:

3Bean, do you want me to bring over some venison brauts? Do you have a grill?
RJ
I got mine from ProAuto Parts (I think that's the name of the place...SE corner of Division/Davis across from O'Reillys) in Arlington. Made by WIX.Quote:
