Do stuff outside. Swimming is a good idea. I play tennis so I have the farmers tan too.

Leather seats, no shirt, no thank you. I live with a miata (farmer) tan, I accept it, and still use sunscreen.

Golfing, autocross and driving a Miata have given me a championship farmers tan. There's not much you can do about it. :(
Well, try parking your car in the driveway and having a neighborhood kid slash up the top, so you have to drive with the hardtop on... I still owe that kid 40 whacks.
I find spending 2-3 hours each weekend in the swimming pool helps ;-)
I drive too fast for the sun to hit me.
Actually I've had the classic farmers tan for the last 10 years. Must have something to do with living on a farm.
