Sunday huh? Never been to an S2K on a Sunday. I guess it is this way due to the rain?
Sunday?? I thought S2K events were always on Saturday??
It's to keep us on our toes... Sadly, I won't be able to make this one.
Actually, I think there were a bunch of requests from the peanut gallery for a Sunday autocross, so this is the trial run.
I'm in. ::Flag:: (Hopefully it won't be a working Sunday)
I'll be there, but I don't know what I'll be driving yet.
I'm in and my friend from Seattle will be there with me. He's a track junkie so we'll throw him right into the autoX fire. ;)
All right girls... better pack your rain gear... I'm in!

I will be leaving from the tollway/turnpike area at 5:45. Where do you work?Quote:

I could probably meet you in Lewisville if you can be ready to be on the road AT 6.Quote:

Pretty cool you know exactly when they will release you from jail! Who is your bail bond guy??? ;)Quote:

I am basing my times on trying to be at MCD at 7, but I am the FNG. How long do people hang out at MCD before heading out to MW? If it is a 90 minute leisurely breakfast, then I can wait in Lewisville way past 6, but if it is a 10 minute grub and go, I don't want to miss it and then have to scramble to find MW. Again, FNG here, so I really don't know. :rolleyes:Quote:

I'll be there...first time out with rollbar, racing seat and harness set-up. All i need now are (4) new shoes for the ride. Hope i can get up that early.
Should be fun and not quite blazing hot.
Great event! Special thanks to Majik for helping me read the course and teaching me a lot about autocrossing. I think I learned a lot.
Another great S2K event! 10 runs (that's right, 10) on a 70+ second fast and fun course! Nice to see everyone. Congrats to Titus for making it out to his first (hopefully not last) event.
WOO HOO
What the results don't show is that Clovis went back to street tires for the afternoon and on street tires, was .495 faster than the fastest official street tire time
He actually had FTD on r's and street tires.
Why did he go back to street tires? Did he cord those Hoosiers already?Quote:

Awesome course Clovis! That was such a fun event.
It was a great learning experience for Brian. He spun quite a few times, but got the hang of it by the end of the day.
