Do we register online like the others or do you wait till you get out there?

ER does not have pre-registration unless you pre-pay for the year. Do it when you get there.

Big props to General Default for a fast and fun course. I just wish I had some R-comps for this event, but sliding all over the place on street tires can be fun too. ;)

It was a really fun & fast course!! Love shifting to Third in a slalom. :burnrubr:

Good seeing driftdevil and Miatamoto out at an ER event, plus the standard cast of ::Clown:: s!

Nice job by Lost213 in winning tire class over the likes of the "Evil Neon" and a Corvette!

The lovely and talented Ben Castillo was seen running his Miata at this event!? Wonder if Ben is planning on running ES next season???

Also congrats to class winners Mark52 and Me! ::Banana::

Saddest thing yesterday was seeing poor Jon W. walking around the grid looking for another RX8 in BS, seems as if his other :cat: BS kids were not able to come out and play, he seemed so lonely. :(

It's been over a month since my last autocross, so I was really happy to get out in the race car again.

I managed to get down to a 84.3 on one of my PAX runs, not bad for street tires. R-comps are like a drug, I can't wait for my next V710 fix.

Somebody tell Castillo that his wheels and tires are illegal for E-stock and that I've got 2 sets of wheels with his name on them sitting in the garage waiting for a new home. ;)

Meh. After taking a week off to race in Kansas, coming home and going straight back out to Mineral Wells to race, I decided it was a good idea to spend some time with my wife this weekend. ::Clown::

I've been trying to get Ben to run that car for the last 2 years :)

Speaking of ES......does anyone wanna buy my car? :) It's for sale, fully setup with a buttload of spares.

I also noticed that Ben's car had 15" wheels, but Lugnut said that they were standard on the R package. According to http://www.miata.net/faq/production.html, the 1994 R package did not have different wheels. I guess I'll complain if/when it really matters to me. Someone who knows him better should mention it to him, though. I'm not into blindsiding people with something like that.

Yep, his wheels were illegal, I mentioned it a little earlier and he knows better than that. Kosei K1s only came in 15x7 and there weren't any 7" wide Miata wheels.

Jon's mistaken. The R Package cars came with 14"x6" wheels. One of the M Edition cars came with 15"x6" wheels (as well as the STO), but neither of them were available with the R Package suspension.

Ya should have taken a minute and talked to Ben he is one of the nicest guys on the tarmac any given Sunday.

If the 15" wheels were a big of a concern to ya I'm sure he would have done something to rectify the situation.

Thanks for the video Miatamoto. I always enjoy watching your driving.

I did not make it to the event due to some bad food. Who would guess that pudding would wipe me out for 2 days. I never get sick. :punchout:

I did mark some of the key cones the day before and Piper and company saved the day with filling in the edges and adding a few changes. I hope it had the fun factor.

Bummer not to get to drive your own course. Anyway looking forward to the next ER event in Mineral Wells. The double header weekend November 4-5.

His car is an A package 94. I drove it last in like 2004 at TMS and its a pretty fast car. He was on 15s cuz he doesn't have any 14s I think. R packages all had 14x6 wheels. Only ones with 15s were the 95-97 M editions.

Anyone going to the TMS event? I may drag up some tires to run up there if I can talk my buddy ol pal Ben into lending me a car again :)
