168 and change... in a stock car at TMS. :burnrubr:
And I've got video... me crawling out of a stock car is not a pretty sight. Something akin to Uncle Jesse getting out of the General Lee.
I've been over 160 MPH before in a Cobra (In Montana before they had speed limits) I caught a little air at a few spots. It was pretty cool. I made about 350 miles in about 3 1/2 hours. I had to stop at a thrift store half-way to my destination, that took a little time ;-)
But yeah, that Bugatti is bawlz to the wall. I didn't think they had anybody willing to drive it that fast due to unstability over 200mph. I could be wrong though.
As a driver, ~190 (speedo had not been recalibrated after gear change yet) in a mildly modified Viper.
As a passenger, 205 in a friend's twin turbo Callaway Corvette with a few tweaks done!
I have one of the videos somewhere that used to be on the racingfreaks website.
567 mph.... In a 747.
Just got my OTM to 150 today
In my miata: 115 on the backroads coming back from Hallett.
In my friends STi: 156 (electronically limited)
In the Spaceball One: Ludicrous Speed!!!
On the ground, 70 on I-35. That's all I'm saying.::evil::
In the air, ~30 in an Aeronca Champ. As cars zipped past on the highway below.:D
180 MPH!:D in my dad's Mooney.
110 MPH in the MSM.
75 in my '04 Honda Civic Hybrid
120 MPH in my '95 T-bird.
1000 PRM over 85 in my 1980 Dodge Challenger. (85 MPH was at the peg.)
85 in my '74 Fiat X-1/9
85 MPH and getting passed like I was sitting still by every other car on IH-75 toward Atlanta in my 1982 Chevy LUV Diesel and the Cop just looked at me as if I was crazy as he spead on by at 100.
The speed limit, whatever it may be.
120mph in the 91 Miata
101mph in the 04 Ranger (electronically limited)
100~ in the 93 Geo Metro (1.0L 3cyl)
115+ in the 90 240sx
(All as the driver)
110MPH in my completely stock 93' Altima. I was whoopin' on another stock 97' Sentra. Bridge up ahead that I've never taken past 80MPH though, so I shutdown :( Only ~6,000RPM's though, might have made it to 120MPH on a level road.
Hwy 121 just out of Lewisville, heading towards The Colony.
126 in my buddy's '00 Civic Si (on this trip I squeezed out 18 mpg out of an entire tank of gas on I-20 - no stops!):

160 in a '93 RX7 (best car I've driven at high speed)
155 in a '95 Z28 (the side windows won't seal above 110, and it gets kinda floaty and rough)
145 in an '84 BMW 745i (800 miles door-to-door to New Mexico in 9:50, including 2 stops for gas, and 30 min stop for a speeding ticket outside of El Paso)
112 in an '86 Subaru (dangerously overloaded with crap, downhill with a stiff tailwind, scary stuff...)
146 in my old mustang gt, 148 in a taurus sho.
115 in my '03 Ram 3500
105 in my Saturn SL2
75 in my '72 CJ5 (It could go faster but not sure I could keep it on the road.)
I think the best was 95 MPH in the Ram for 2 hours in an emergency run from Clayton, OK to McKinney, TX. I was pulling 7K lbs. of Jeep and trailer behind me. I was trying to get a friend to DFW to catch the last flight out to California. His dad had a massive stroke in Sacramento and he was trying to get there before he passed. The interesting part is it could have gone faster.
80, maybe 85...
155 mph.
S.
132 in the Mini Cooper S I had..... I didn't have a reflash.
In the MSM 115
In my grandpa's Lexus 158
more than enough ;)
I think the fastest was aroun 145 in an FD... Its amazing how fast you slow down from 145mph in and FD with a set of MONSTER brakes.
my 7? about 135
MSM - never really pushed it.. Might have hit 100 somewhere? (but I did 95 for about 3 hours straight last weekend on the way to San Antonio)
610mph in a Boeing 777 with a tailwind::Banana::
Fastest I have gone was when I was about half a car in front of a Kawasaki 636. He hit his rev-limiter and I still had a little bit left, but we both slowed down, exited, and talked for a bit. His speedo said 158, mine said 152, I don't know who was right.
I no longer have the need for speed.....

...anywhere but on a race track! Fastest I've been in Speedie, in SSB trim, with a draft, at Daytona was 130mph. I suspect I was close to that at Laguna Seca in the Barber Dodge, but those things don't have no speedometers! Almost forgot about a students Viper at TWS several years ago.....145, being very conservative ;)
Hmm 140ish in the Miata down in the Hill country...Top Down Redline
130ish in my supercharged Ranger before I decided that was far enough
As a passanger 190ish in a Carrera GT on I35 came up on traffic real quick
500+ in an airliner too.
On solid ground, 125mph in a Miata on a long downhill. Don't much feel the need for speed. I'd rather be carving the corners.
