Inspection Question

My better half has given me the 'sponsibility of getting the Yellow Miata inspected today, it doesn't have a front plate on it (It's in the trunk).

Is no front plate going to be an issue when I take it to slappy's house of inspections??

I have never had an issue with it. My friend even told me the other night that the front plate law had been changed and that one was not needed anymore. I am not sure of the validity of that but I still don't think you will have an issue.

So other than the fact we have ignored the emissions recall we got from Mazda it should be good to go!

I'm not sure it's been passed yet, but apparently the state bean-counters are recommending that we drop the front plates! YESSSS!!

I dont think it's changed yet, I have 3 warnings for no front plate from the drive to and from Whitesboro last week.

I think he means the car passed inspection, not the bill passing through the state senate.

Well, the bill passed as well... Unfortunately they removed the part about not needing a front plate before it passed. It was a year or two ago.

Too bad, but I still am not puttin' a plate on the front. For one, the dealer sold the car to me without one but reg. was still good, and I'm not floating bill for re-registering for new plates when I paid the state their taxes, & my county their taxes. Not that I am in the right, just stubborn.
