Seriously, though - Congrats! You were flying in Henry's car yesterday!

No way. Then the truth will come out... I was just along for the ride and got lucky.

That car is remarkable. Point and shoot is definitely not my driving style, but I think I could learn to like it... I felt like a bull in a china shop. It's a bizarrre feeling when you get out of sorts then straighten the car with your right foot. Definitely not the same technique used in the MR2.

Hmmm, now that the BS battle is simmering down, we might now have a new PAX battle.

I heard Solo RX-7 say that all of the mod guys are only fast because of their cars and that anyone with a good AWD turbo would be able to beat them any day. And I am not going to tell you what he said about guys that drive 80s Trans Am GTAs!

Lemme check my handy-dandy results file. hmmmm.

Seems there's 0.550 on Mr Saunders,

    and another 1.052 for Piper

So that makes the total (line up the decimal places, carry the 1...)

    ALOT!

    Actually just 1.602 seconds.

In much smaller print.... Miatamoto was right on my heels with his nitrous-fed RX-8 just 0.266 back. (That's the only thing I can think of that makes the piston-less B-Stockers go so fast)

BTW. what was up with Mr Saunders yesterday, couldn't help but notice he was taking a bit of time to get his last runs in. I'm sure the corner workers soaking in there own juices didn't mind the delay...

Great day at the races and a day where Son tops Dad and brings home his first trophy. Youth is such a wonderful thing. Congratulations Christopher!!

Let's see, where did I put my excuse generator? That was a great course! I didn't make anything even resembling a good run until #4 and that one I coned away at the finish.

This might belong in Tech, but learn from my mistake: Sometimes you can get a bit carried away with running on next to no gas in your car.

Lights are for 's! Guess I didn't notice since mine will probably not go out until I need to pass inpection again next year.

As I powered out of the sweeper at the south end, the car went strangely silent. Good thing my foot was planted or I would've slowed more. FWIW, it only managed to limp along for maybe 10 seconds before crossing the finish and then running completely dry in grid. Nearly at my parking spot.
That was a 70 sec run.
