Yes - the car is supposed to be in race trim. If your helmet already has a Solo 2007 sticker you're OK not bringing it to tech. You could take your race tires to tech with you instead of mounting them on the car.

Not great. I was a good 2.5 seconds or more off the pace both days. They still have some grip left, but since I've never run R's before I'm not a good judge. Definately a learning curve between street tires and R's.

I really enjoyed the Divisional. This weekend makes me wish I had had the money to attend the other two. Maybe next year I can make it to all the Divisional events.

Great job by autoxmax and the rest of the crew.

sammm, if you had driven slower, like me, maybe you could have had time to enjoyed the courses.

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Well it would appear my 2nd place may be up for discussion. I got 2nd on Saturday and got 1st place today, but wasn't able to cover the time gap to catch Chris W. So on the sheets NealB brought to us in impound at the completion of first heat showed I finished 2nd.....

So time for the trophies and I come to find out the computer decided I finished 3rd.....

Some of the SCCA finest are going to review the situation and let me know how it plays out.

Automax and all the SCCA peeps did a great job it was an awsome event!

The course on Day 2 was decent. Certainly much better than the course on Day 1, which just didn't do it for me at all. It was slow and choppy, with no flow whatsoever. Any time you can run the first 200 yards of the course in 1st gear, it's not going to be a fun course.

Congrats to leadfootjon for coming up 2nd in B Stock - he drove well this weekend and deserved it. Eric J put up a good fight all weekend to take the class. He was flying - I think he ended up in 4th or 5th overall on PAX Saturday, and that didn't take into account his last dirty run, which was a full .7 faster, just two tenths behind the top Super Stock time.

Jeremy and I didn't fare so well this weekend. We had some shifting issues (again ), and other problems as well. Jeremy deserved to finish higher (he had two scratch times on Saturday that would have moved him up a bunch), but I didn't drive worth crap all weekend. Oh well...

Big thanks to autoxmax and all of the rest of the Texas Region folks who worked so hard all weekend ot make this a successful event!

I never shifted John's car out of first on Saturday. That course was miserable. I like "hard" or "technical" courses, but Saturday's course was just plain poor. I was embarrassed that our region used that course for a Div event. Sunday was better but still sub-par compared to our typical local courses IMO. Other than that I thought everyone did a great job.

POS, you was robbed! The results posted today do not show your final run on Sunday.

Well said. I didn't want to take away from the event itself and/or all the SCCA worker chiefs. That side of it was outstanding in every way!

I liked both courses, but I seem to be in the minority. I usually am.
