Its got high mileage, but everything has been taken care of really well. I'm probably gonna have a shop look at it before I hand the money over, just to make sure....but everything so far looks good. Carfax came back clean on the car as well so yeah!!!

It's a sh*tty job but someone's gotta do it, gotta keep the balance of the universe in check etc etc.

I'm just screwing around anyway, sheesh. Let's not all turn into Onething all at once.

Might want to talk to a guy named Mike Bridges who runs with BMWCCA. I think he has 150K+ on his FRC C5 and it runs with no issues. It's been autocrossed a ton and still runs strong. PPI is always a pretty good idea.

Yeah. I really am hoping not to autocross the car as much as I do the civic. All the jerking and on gas/on brakes scares me a little on a higher mileage domestic. I think I'll try to road race it once every other month and maybe autoX it once a month or so.

Make sure if you track the car to watch your oil pressure very closely. Early LS1 oil pan baffles allowed oil pump starvation in high G, steady state corners. Overfilling (usually running 7+ quarts) can help minimize the problem.

Ben, car looks awesome! Im particularly fond of white corvettes.

Anyway, I think you'll find the car to be very robust in any high performance driving. By trackig will certainly put more stress on the vehicle.

Why do you feel all the jerking is bad because it's a domestic? Have you seen my engine go flying out of my car yet?

Haha no no. I was just having fun. I was a domestic boy for years until I got the Honda.

It's David Cheese's car. I've driven it, it's in really good shape for the mileage. He bought it as a track car but never really had many opportunities to drive it.

Yeah, Mick told me later that it was missing on that run. I saw the corner worker as I was coming off the sweeper, but I was moving to fast to notice that he still had a cone in his hand.

    Hey - I didn't get flagged and I didn't stop for a rerun, so it's legal.

Been sick since end of August, still am. Looks like I'm out for the year. Today is the 1st day I've felt decent enough to post. Gall Stones, going in for surgery on Tuesday.
