So, to be clear, is the supercharger installed, or just parts in a box? Also, can you just toss the AC belt back on so the AC can be tested, or is there a problem with the belt/pulley?

Is it just me, or was the right rear quarter painted with a brush in a sandstorm?

And if the blower is installed has the motor ever been tuned with it? Leather hardtop. That' s a kink for JJ..

Well that's low taking advantage of a Miata enthusiast enthusiasm in expectations of getting more. Maybe there should be a 30 day wait for new members for being able to sell here.

I saw that one on the street. He forgot to mention the cool black paint on the headlights. Must be worth at least $1k of that $6k he's dreaming of getting.

15x8's with 185s. LOL. Tells me all I need to know.

OP, I think you would see the most $ if you returned to stock and then sold the stock car + the parts. That might get you $4K+ for just the car and the hardtop before selling other parts (assuming car is actually in good condition).

Saw this car on Wednesday at a Texas imports today meet. Sc is not installed and I believe it is the same car we saw with txsoldier think his name was Taylor. Guess he sold it? Not to bash or anything but the car wasn't in the best condition when Taylor brought it out to the kellers meet and wasn't much different this Sunday.

If I recall, this top was being sold a few months ago because it didn't fit properly on an NA and leaked, but I don't know if it was sold or if the whole car was sold with it. I can't seem to get a clear answer, and the owner isn't checking on this thread lately.

Not to smart to try to dump it here on a MIATA board for more than CL when people know the car in the first place.

The rear quarter panel does have an imperfection on it. The car is a salvage car due to a jimmy ding in on the rear quarter. and the insurance company automatically totals the car when that happens , but there was no frame damage of any kind and was repaired well. it simply doesn't have the proper paint. Yes the car doesnt have the greatest of paint.
Why would anyone remove the belt on a perfectly functional A/C? That makes no sense.

Oooo... salvage title. This car is sounding better and better! Seems like something you would mention in the original ad in which you were asking $6k for a 20 year old salvage titled vehicle. A rear quarter "ding" as you call it does not automatically total a vehicle. If it was bad enough that the rear quarter panel needed to be replaced, it could total it. Again, this seems like B.S. I'm guess it was a significant dent the was likely repaired "on the cheap" with body filler.

1994 Miata with a salvage title, poor dent repair, poor paint, possible or probably A/C not working, a box of supercharger parts, crappy aftermarket hardtop?

The car is worth "maybe" $2000-$2500. Box of supercharger parts is $100-$500 depending on what's there, what's missing and condition. After market hard top is $400-$700 depending on condition and finding a buyer that wants a "cheap" hard top and doesn't know any better than to pay the extra for a proper OEM hardtop.

GLWS You may find a sucker on CL but not here.

You seem like a nice enough guy in your responses, so I'll try to be helpful.
Your best bet is to sell off the SC parts, spares and hardtop separately, then hope you can get $1500 out of the car. The salvage title makes the car woth no more than 60% of what a comparable clean title car would get. The lip, spoiler, wheels and suspension mods actually make the car worth LESS on the used market, so it would be wise to remove them and sell them separately where they are worth something. OEM parts/wheels are cheap to locate used.

Sounds like you might have gotten burned a bit by your buddy, unfortunately. This forum is a great resource for info on fixing and upgrading Miatas, but we get easily miffed if it seems like someone is just looking for a quick buck. Good luck.

That would be me. Didn't want to be the lone voice telling OP to return to stock.

OZMDD's doing just fine. He's twerking in the basement. No worries.
