They told me it could be they need to tune the amp or I had a bad speaker. I'm not listening to much Snoop Dogg.
Did you break it in properly as well? Most subs take several hours' worth of break in time, I had a couple that were recommended over 20 hours break in time before I could turn the gains up.
It's not that hard to tune an amp, but all it takes is one note to trash a sub.
