Thread: Flex install time!

    Default Flex install time!

For anyone who's interested, I'll be dropping by Magma's place around 10:30a tomorrow to improve the suspension on my li'l '90.

So, come one, come all...enjoy the clowns & petting zoo, cotton candy, see the bearded lady, and...
    oh, that's the state fair.

In that case, drop in to lend a hand, listen to me swearing at stuck bolts and toiling at my first Miata suspension swap. I might even be willing to barter away the NB Hard S Bilsteins with springs & mounts that'll be coming off the car.
'90 "LE" available for purchase soon

Thanks so much, guys! That went soooo much faster than I thought it would. What was total install time, minus that quick front adjustment? Something like 1.5 hours, maybe? Then tack on the surprise rear brake install for another 30 minutes or so. Wish I had that much luck with the station wagon sessions!

...and the '90 handles wonderfully on the street, despite the rather nutty rear camber. Just talked to AJ, and we'll be getting that covered on Tuesday afternoon.

Now it's time for a compression test and header blanket.

I'm buying your dinners next time I can make it out on a Wednesday!

Final pictures coming later this week.

Just make sure to pay attention to your front right corner. I am curious where the broken adjuster is set. FYI...I put the other three at 14 clicks out from full stiff (bottomed out clockwise). I'll take you up on that meal!

Ride seemed okay on the way home. If anything, I'll stiffen up the rears a bit in the next week or so. If it gets to be an issue, I'll pull the unit & send it in for service.
Guess this explains the TCB deal I got on 'em, huh? Heheh...
