I assumed this forum aspired to be "a better place" than the Outlaws list which is pretty much dead now due in part to this place.

This place is about bringing together individuals with a passion for a certain car and a place for such people to communicate and socialize. When you had logos made it stopped being an individual's forum and became the best Miata community in the metroplex. MME is not TC's place to do with as he wishes. As a paying members, we should have a say in what goes on around here, especially who gets banned and he needs to keep his own personal feelings out of it.

It doesn't need bullshit politics, secret bashing of individuals, indiscriminate banning of individuals who did nothing but piss one person off and deletion of posts only because the admin or mod can't take a joke yet expects everyone else to.

Several members agree with me. I'm being vocal in hopes you all see the light and fix this place before you end up like so many other pious forums like the pointy board.

That's what you get for assuming. This isn't Mayberry. It is what it is and will probably be different tomorrow. I never was an Outlaw (or wanted to be), so I can't compare. I have heard the stories though. Are you still a member even after several of your 'friends' were banned in to oblivion? If so, aren't you being a hypocrite by doing so and getting on your soap box now? Life is too short to worry about such petty stuff (and this is one of those times).

I'm not defending TC, just stating my thoughts. He owns MME (for whatever that is worth), the rest of us (mods included) do not. I don't agree with everything that has transpired, but such is life.

We don't ban people... So far I only know of two folks - Rory & Machismo... Both of whom were banned for creating FOUR accounts. Each. There were plenty of warnings. For all other offenses we're just mean. It's a temporary thing and it goes away.

It's always been a dictatorship here. TC pays the majority of the bills, owns the stuff, and we just give a pittance to help with the hosting, server, mainentance, and software costs.
