When I tell people my real name, Studley Hungwell, they usually just want to call me Stud for short and 10 inches for long. So I go by an AKA most of the time.

I get Lee instead of William.

The one that really pisses me off is when people call me Bill after I tell them my name is William. If I'm lucky, their name is Richard and I can call them Dick.

I'd call them Dick anyway. Yesterday, the guy sitting beside me heard my name as Ben, too. The plane wasn't that noisy either - I wish it would've drowned out "preacher boy" as he kept going on and on and on despite my increasingly blunt replies.

I'm not sure which annoyed me more: Enduring a 90 min plane ride sitting beside an evangelical, or that he kept calling me Ben. No offense to any Ben's out there.
